On Saturday, July 12, the Dr. Alex Kim Foundation was proud to partner with District 8 at the Sun Valley Academy South Mountain Back-to-School Giveaway! Our team provided free glucose and blood pressure checks to promote preventative care and educate families on staying healthy.

Thanks to our amazing partnership with Half Price Books, many children left with their very own hardcover books — a special gift to encourage reading and lifelong learning. We also had the privilege of working alongside our partners from Sahara Community Health, who had a physician onsite in the mobile health unit, attending to the community’s healthcare needs. A huge thank you to everyone who made this day a success — community supporters, families, and our partners — because when we work together, we help our kids thrive!
