The spirit of community and giving shone brightly on December 5th, 2024, as the Dr. Alex Kim Foundation and Accelerated Pathways Career College teamed up with Chicanos por la Causa at their Annual Posada Navideña. This cherished event brought together organizations dedicated to uplifting the community and providing essential resources during the holiday season. Held amidst the festive backdrop of this traditional celebration, the collaboration embodied a heartfelt commitment to health, education, and family well-being.

The foundation and the college made a significant impact by offering vital health services to attendees, including glucose and blood pressure checks. Over the course of the evening, vitals were taken for 113 participants, helping raise awareness about personal health and the importance of preventive care. To further enhance community health, compression stockings were also distributed, underscoring the foundation’s dedication to improving quality of life for all.

Accelerated Pathways Career College also made strides in its educational mission by launching its Music Academy at the event. This initiative, aimed at fostering creativity and providing a nurturing environment for young talent, resonated with families in attendance. The college successfully enrolled 43 children for its music classes, set to commence this month. This milestone signifies an exciting new chapter, allowing kids to explore their artistic potential and build skills that will benefit them for years to come.
