Alex Kim Foundation, in partnership with Bethel Christian Church, hosted the Healing Through Change Fall Health Fair at 2300 N 24th St in Phoenix. Despite inclement weather, our dedicated team, partners, and volunteers came together to provide essential healthcare, resources, and encouragement to our community.

Expanding Access to Healthcare

Dozens of patients received EKGs and cardiology visits thanks to our Mayo Clinic doctor, while our Chief Vascular Surgeon performed vascular and foot evaluations. Many attendees were also connected to Sahara Programs, helping them establish ongoing primary care. Our partners at the Advanced Spine and Pain team were present to guide individuals struggling with daily pain toward relief and healing.

Meeting Needs Beyond Medicine

The fair wasn’t just about physical health—it was also about restoring confidence and bringing joy. More than fifty men, women, and children received free haircuts, which boosted their self-esteem. Thanks to the generosity of our hosting church, every attendee enjoyed a warm meal, and children lit up with joy after our toy and bike giveaway raffle.

A Platform for Hope and Healing

Bethel Christian Church created an evangelistic platform where many experienced healing and salvation, reinforcing the heart of our mission: to share the love of Christ with our neighbors. Whether it was through a hug, a prayer, fellowship, medical services, or a meal, the event embodied compassion and community care.

We were especially grateful for the last-minute presence of Mujer en Conexión Radio from Hermosa Radio, who helped amplify our message of hope and faith to a broader audience.

Gratitude and Reflection

We are deeply thankful to our Heavenly Father for blessing us with another successful health fair filled with love, service, and fellowship. None of this would have been possible without our partners, volunteers, and church family who stood alongside us to make a lasting impact.
